How do I start karate?

1. Ask the club instructor or secretary if it is ok to sit quietly and watch a class in action.
2. If you decide to start, arrive early for your lesson. If your class starts at 6.00pm don’t arrive at 6.00pm. Arrive early by 5.45pm to register your attendance.
3. If you have any questions, ask these before or after the lesson and not during the lesson.

Wednesdays 6.00 to 7.00pm New Beginners and all Grades (Sports Hall)
Wednesdays 7.00 to 8.00pm Black and Brown Belts only (Sports Hall)

Saturdays 3.00 to 4.00pm Black and Brown Belts only (in Sports hall)
Saturdays 3.00 to 4.00pm New Beginners and all Grades (upstairs in Studio)

We were asked by Enfield Council to organise a Karate club for the new Southbury Leisure Centre in Enfield before the centre was built. We made plans for the opening day in 2002 and performed a spectacular Karate display for the public. The Mayor of Enfield together with Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies were in attendance and the opening event was a great success. The club started well and has continued to become a tremendous success for adults and children alike. You too can be a part of this success. We welcome you to Enfield Karate Club.
